She's a tough grader, but you have tons of opportunities to revise your essays. There's no reason that you should get below a B- in this class, and if you do, it's because you just don't care. Class is ALWAYS fun, and you will definitely look forward to it. Her bark is worse than her bite, so just do yourself a favor and take class with her.

She is a little intimidating at first, but she once you get used to her she's actually very interesting and fun. beware she is a very tough grader, but she's willing to go over your papers and help you to improve them. she's fair. i would reccomend taking class with her.

Professor Cable was the best teacher that I have ever had. She made English, a subject that I have never been interested in, actually enjoyable and fun. If you put somewhat of an effort into the papers you will do well. The paper topics are interesting and different than normal assignments which definately makes them a lot easier to write.

Cable is an amazing prof. and she is someone who can relate to her students on more than one level. English Comp is not one of the most intresting subjects but Cable made it a really great and enjoyable time. Her humor, way of teaching and personality are hard to come by in college professors. Take her when you get the chance, you won't regret it

Give her tenure already, Fordham! I don't see how teachers who regularly fail their student reviews maintain tenure and this woman cannot get it. Life changing experience. It was her class that cured me of my grade-lowering addiction to comma splices.
