Had her for 2 semesters of Experimental Psychology in 1984-85. Also, reported to her as the Research Assistant for her graduate student's research projects. Sure, she was tough, but her toughness inspired me to have the drive I needed to excel in my coursework overall. Ended up having an educational experience that I'm proud of.

I remember Dr. Jackson... What a disorganized lady. She was always talking about how she worked with NASA in the middle of lessons. Her NASA stories never had anything to do with the lesson. She also never stopped talking about PSI CHI. I was in PSI CHI it was a joke.

A bit of a mess, I heard she was an easy A, but apparently that isnt true anymore. She gave us quizzes she never counted, a final that was impossible, and the final paper was not too bad. Overall, you cant avoid her, take the B and suck it up. Really dissappointing.

This professor is quite honestly an embarassment. Her teaching is unsatisfactory (and this is being kind). She belittles people in the class (except for her favorites of course) - interestingly, it's the attractive girls that she belittles most. I think that she needs to quit teaching and go into life-long intensive therapy.

I agree, she is not as bad as people say and can be quite nice and helpful if she sees that you care about your studies. Her lectures are definitely questionable but she is by no means a factor in Pace’s demise. Not a great professor but a great co-chair. Dr. Jackson is not that bad of a professor at all. I'm wondering exactly where people are getting their feedback on Jackson from or how they are interpreting her attitude. She is a bit strict and sometimes it feels like she does have an attitude, but she certainly is not that bad. Very intelligent and verbose, but her lectures are questionable.

It's professors like Jackson that can lead to the demise of an institution like Pace university; or it's reputation. She's terrible! Her lectures are useless, her attitude is a disgrace, she belittles people constantly - clearly she is not happy with her own miserable life. Why is she still around! This poor excuse for a woman totally needs to go.

Lectures were often REALLY interesting since much of physio relates to problems in real life, and she enjoyed talking about that and hearing the students' real life problems - this made the lectures pretty interesting. However.. the stupid confusion over the quiz content plus the confusion re: the final/paper schedule, really soured the experience

Jackson...unavoidable Jackson. Her lectures are 'ok' (powerpoint), engages students some, goes on tangents, unclear about quiz material (or even if she counts them). j.j. is one cracked up woman. she has such a vast knowledge of everything in psychology that she DOES NOT STOP TALKING for the entire duration of class. she chooses fav's and her tests include the tiniest details about the material.

ok... total nut job and I got an A so this isn't revenge... no one really likes this woman. She doesn't even know what she's saying. She changes subjects every two seconds. She likes you to make posterboards and to put pics in your report. Kindergarten
