She's really nice but very unclear about expectations. She's always sick and uses it as an excuse for not getting work done. She never even gave us a proper exam review. This teacher should be on permanent sick leave.

She is really nice and not a bad teacher. Yes its a lot of work and i wish that we didnt have that much but if you miss a class you will be ok because she is very blackboard oriented which is awesome for when you miss work and who keeps handouts, internet is so much better. very nice lady.

Unclear and a tough marker. Not a good mix! You could try and write 10 page paper that seems like an "A" material to everyone else but her,and barely get a pass out of it in the end. Passionate yet careless in regards to her students' success. Try and stay away! You've been warned!

Don't go to her class and don't get her as your professor. She is nice, and flexible with due date. However, she is an extremely hard maker. SHe marks according to her personal preference not professional standard. She even mark sthe assignment which is done by a guy who has a really good writing skills merely pass only. She knows nothing. NO

All I can say is... WTF!!! This woman was soo unclear with the assignments its just not even funny. The courseload was way too much for an english class. The majority of the things I learnt from this class came straight from the book!

Jan's an awesome teacher. True she's a bit of a hard marker - but she encourages an advancements or tried you make. She's pretty flexible with due dates and totally helpful when you have tons of work. I say the work load is fair, not a whole lot but don't leave all the assignments to the end! I would definitly take her class again!

She marks according to her personal preference rather than the professional standard. The worest thing is that she doesn't think it's a problem. For example, her criterias for a "Annoteated Works Cited List" is very different from the professional ones I learned from books and websites. I think she is a nice person but unfair marker.

Shes a nice proff but extreemly confusing, she gives out like 10 pages to explain how to complete an assignment and it confuses you even more. Shes weird and laughs at her own jokes, shes give too much work and thinks students only have one class in the whole semester. I would not take her again as my PROFF.
