She expected a lot of participation. She didn't so much lecture as discuss; she asks a lot of questions and expects more than just the same three people to answer. She's rather hopeless with technology, but she provided all of her lecture slides and notes. Not the most engaging professor, but mostly effective.

She's very enthused about teaching European Cinema, duh! She's very interested in hearing your opinions and loves when you participate! Do the readings and go to class and you're golden. She marks essay's quite tough so don't think you can bang one out in a night and be okay.

Genuinely shows an interest in helping students. Knows what she's talking about. Is a very sweet lady, although a little confusing at times because she likes to make references to obscure films.

She knows what she is talking about and is fairly clear as to what she is saying. She frequently encourages student participation too which is good and always directly relates the topic to them film seen. My personal favourite prof.

Lectures are a little dull. She's a big fan of reading off the screen and recently discovered PowerPoint, which was quite amusing for everyone. A nice lady and reminds me of someone's out-of-touch grandmother. I took this class with the laziest group of kids ever, so simply meeting the expectations will take you far.

Had her for aesthetics. She's pretty nice tho rather sketchy about computers. She has this complex that students are on facebook, msn... If you're taking notes, she stops class and tells you that you're doing something else. HaHA! She pronounces words all funny too LOL like seriousLLAY, reaLLLAY, probaBLAY (that happens often, must like the sound)

Not a bad teacher. Clearly didn't want to be teaching first years. Her pronunciation of the word genre was the best part of the course. If you attend lectures, a good mark is a breeze.

Janina is pretty cool, just go to lectures, the woman doesn't ask for much. Very helpful, even with projects not related to her own class, and she tries to make the material and exams as painless as possible for you. I can appreciate that.
