Online homework every week but its super easy. A few quizzes and tests per semseter but you'll know exactly whats on it. He is extremely nice and funny once he gets comfortable with the class. You participate whether you want to or not but you can just say I don't know and he will move on. I would reccomend this class for an easy A.

Super quiet and doesn't speak English at all. The class gets better as the semester progresses. You learn a lot about him and find out that he's actually pretty bada-- and awesome. Easy grader and let's you rewrite everything. Quizzes and final are take home. A lot of work but it's all pretty easy. Mostly discussion based.

I enjoyed this class for the most part. It was tough, but he was helpful. There were a ton of assignments so if you don't want a lot of work, don't take this class. I definitely feel as if I improved my spanish.

I love him. He is funny because he knows little English but he is a very witty guy. He gives out very few assignments and when he does give them out he is very lenient on grading. I don't think anyone in my class got lower than a B+. You don't learn much in the class but it is a very easy A.

Javier is a great guy. He is a great teacher. The class is an easy A. You MUST attend class. We read a short story (3-4) pages before each class and fill out questions together in class. Two take-home, group tests, (one is the final) and one group project. TAKE THIS CLASS!!

He's kind of out of it. Totally easy class, but really not helpful at all in terms of learning or improving your Spanish. He just lectures/rambles the entire time as we sit there. There wasn't really any opportunity for the students to practice speaking Spanish. Often felt like a waste of time, but at least it wasn't hard or stressful.

Best teacher I never had before in Spanish. He knows SO MUCH about Latin America and other things related to Hispanic world. I had a great experience in his class. I didn?t know anything about BALSEROS from Cuba to USA. He doesn?t like cellular phones in his class? fine with me.

Campos is a great teacher; probably this mad student is one of those that need to translate ANY single word from Spanish into English. I disagree with the ?mad student? below. I spoke several times with him after classes. Are you one of those kids using your ?blackberries? in class next to me?

Campos is the man. Hes very enthusiastic and interested in the subject. One possible problem is he DOES NOT SPEAK ENGLISH. It didn't bother me at all but one or two kids hated that. He also has a ridiculous OCD about "blackberries" in class. I don't think he knows how to say cell phone... anyway hes too nice to take off points. Take his class

i love javier haha. had him for four semesters out of six (121,122,245,303)and his classes aren't that hard. he is a pretty easy grader until you start getting more advanced. he's a really nice/funny & knows SO much about everything with latin america. take him if you are interested in current events or want to watch movies to learn history.

Javier... wonderful man. Communication can be a bit difficult, as his English isn't always very good, but just speak in Spanish and he'll love you. Fairly easy grader, but has a tendancy to assign multiple things at once after weeks of no work. Randomly leaves the room in the middle of class.
