Comment:

I took intro to stats with this professor. He is very kind and wants to help whenever he can. There are lots of homework assignments that make it easy to keep your grade up. He gives reviews before every test with all of the material you need to know. Going to class isn't mandatory but I do recommend going so you don't fall behind.

Comment:

Sadek is a good guy and really funny in class. At first he may seem unapproachable but I promise if you ask him about a problem in class or if you need him to give you some extra time to finish homework he will help you out. However, he is not very good at explaining things. I recommend going to office hours or SI sessions.

If you put in the time and effort, getting an A isn't out of the question. Jawad is a really nice guy. I thought he was going to be tough and mean-but he turned out to be one of my favorite professors. Class & HW are not mandatory but if you want to do well you MUST do the hw and go see him in his office when confused. Quiz\Tests are from the HW!!

I personally enjoyed this class a lot. I really never have excelled at math but he makes the concepts easy and takes time to go over them in class as many times as you need. ASK QUESTIONS If you don't he will assume that the class knows the material. Also his accent is a lot better than years previous I have never had a problem hearing what he says

He is great professor! He has an accent but he makes concepts really understandable. I hate math and after having Mary Shepherd for Calc 1 and Russel Euler for Precalc, this is a walk in the park! He is really funny and enjoys himself when he is teaching. I would recommend taking him. His tests and quizzes all come from the (not required) homework.

I've had Jawad for 3 classes now (all upper-level). He is by far my favorite professor on campus. He is the nicest, sweetest, and most helpful guy in the dept. ASK QUESTIONS & he'll answer. Get to know him! He likes joking and talking with you in class. He cares very much about the material he covers and also about each student. Always available!

Jawad is a really nice guy that you can joke around with. I really enjoyed him as a teacher. However, he is sometimes hard to understand. I recommend that you try all your homework problems and go into his office if you have problems. He takes questions off the homework for the test and quizzes.

Jawad is AMAZING!!! He is hard to understand at first, but you get used to it if you keep an open mind! He seems mean, but he's actually very nice and loves to help his students out! Go get a mocha with him sometime and do a crossword puzzle. He's a great guy. You're lucky if you're in his class.

dont even need to go to class, just make sure you print out the practice problems for the test and memorize the answers, all the practice problems are on the test.........its an awful class
