Comment:

Jay Mckee is by far the worst professor and Champlain College. He is unclear, mean, laughs at all of his own jokes(30% of in class time is spent doing this), and is, in general, a bad teacher and I mean guy. Do yourself a favor and don't take this class. I am not just saying this because he gave me a bad grade, I got a B, which was very difficult.

This guy is a terrible teacher, he will give you an exam and the questions will be some miniscule sentence no even related to marketing. He lectures about common sense type stuff and then will screw yu on any exam or quiz but testing you on irrelevant material. This guy should not be a college professor, if he is a professor than so should a monkey

James Mckee is very moist, but his beau ties are crunchy. He's literally the worst professor ever. He doesn't say what is on the test which are absolutely impossible. You just write a ton of papers and do quizzes that are useless. He constantly talks about "Linda" but never says who she is. He always says "hmm?"every third word. That's it.

Mckee is a lecturer, his notes are never clear and he's hard to follow because he's so old. He will write one thing on the board then talk about it, get distracted and when you look back at your notes they will make no sense. Quizes every week, papers without clear instructions, and 3 IMPOSSIBLE tests. His classes are incredibly boring too :/

Professor McKee is an odd person. All he talks about all class is him and his wife and all the things they own and do and he always portrays himself as upper class by talking about their expensive things. He doesn't care about his students unless they prove that they are upper class by talking about their expensive items. I hate this teacher.

I love this professor! He really knows his stuff and his class is definitely worth taking! His exams are had this is true but if you actually study you do get A's, i got an A for the class and for all 3 exams.

He is very clear and well organized, but the exams are completely outrageous. The final was literally impossible to ace. It was close to 15 pages long (including essay and open response questions!). He is a nice enough guy, but the unreasonable exams ruined it for me.

After reading these comments, I guess I'm the only one who loves him! Although the class is tough, he keeps the class fun. The weekly quizzes are take-home and easy A's. The assignments are fun. I had no interest in marketing before this class, but I really enjoy it.

McKee's exams are pretty difficult...his final is crazy....don't rely on getting a good grade on the final! He's a good teacher, I didn't have too many issues. The text is very helpful.

Worst class I have ever taken. He is not clear with his grading (he doesn't give you a rubric) at all. He knows Marketing, but all he does is lecture. The textbook was useless because it wasn't what he tested on. The quizzes were made using the previous textbook edition, and were also useless. AVOID THIS TEACHER AT ALL COSTS.

He understands marketing, but all he is capable of doing is lecturing and grading. He won't explain what he wants on projects at all, but when he hands stuff back it has a rubric attatched. Also you can't converse with him or contact him outside of class. I failed the class because I couldnt get in touch with him after the semester ended.

james mckee is probably the worst teacher i have ever had. all he talks about is himself, and if he ever calls on you and you don't know the answer he brags about how much he knows. he doesn't ever take the time to learn students names, and only talks about his stupid trips to ireland or all of his old students that are now really successful.
