Comment:

Not the best but certainly above par. What was lacking in lecture, communication, and canvas use was made up for with relatively generous acts such as delaying quizzes, dropping grades, etc. No doubt a brilliant mathematician but her capacity to teach to students leaves room for improvement.

Very sweet professor. She explains stuff very clearly and is great at answering questions in class if you have any. There is a reasonable amount of homework. If you have a question outside of class, don't email her, she won't respond, but go to her office hours.

Great person even though homeworks and exams are really tough. Quiz every week also best out of 8 hw and quiz are x% (cant remember) and 3 out of 4 best exam grades taken for final grade unless you are a math god dont take this class

She's a great professor who explains the topics clearly in class and is very willing to help outside of class. If you show up, pay attention, and do the homework you will do fine in the class. Also, she gives quizzes every time you hand in homework, which is about every week.

Professor was not exactly helpful in class. When you ask questions, she doesnt like to repeat herself. I did take her before but i realized that time i was the master in class and in MA243 I have no clue what is going on . So I fell real hard. Would recommend her if you know MA243 material. If you dont then try other professors .

I took Raghavan for my MA243HON class, and it was fantastic. She has lots of quizes, but only puts the top 8 in the grade book. The tests were a little challenging, but if you showed up to class and did all the homework you did fine.

Extremely forgetful. Starts answering/ replying before you've completed your question/ request. Really tough grader. Lectures are awesome, and she will repeat herself just enough for you to understand exactly what is going on.

So I attended her lectures like a good student and man was she the best teacher I've ever had in Embry! Now when I think of taking any math class, I wish I could make her teach me math all my life. Thing about this cool teacher is her explanation is awesome and she goes so much in depth to explain even one student. Definitely recommend if u want A.

The exams are all fairly difficult and for the final she'll take the hardest problems from the last test and make them harder. Her grading was very inconsistent, she would either give full credit for different answers to the same question, or take off a random amount of points for the same mistake on the same problem. There is no partial credit

I had her for Precalc and she was one of the worst teachers i have ever had. She is not clear at all on the material and assumes we all know it already. Long Home work assignments and quizzes every week. Literally 34 of the class is not going to pass it. Do not Take her. Plus her accent is kinda annoying

Easiest teacher I've had yet. Homeworks are all odd problems, so you can check them with the book. No quizzes because I was in the honors section. Tests were pretty easy, if a bit long. Lots of examples in class. Very clear procedures and steps. I thought calc 3 would be hard, but it's really easy.

Very average professor. Quizzes every week. Long, extensive homeworks are always collected and graded. The course requires a lot of studying outside of the classroom. Study for exams and take advantage of the tutors. Other than that she's a fine professor to have, except her voice can get annoying haha
