She's a terrible professor. I couldn't make the final because I couldn't get back to campus and she threatened to fail me for the course. Her class in disorganized and she has no idea what she is doing for the majority of it so she gives busy work to make up for it. Do not take her classes.

Dr. Coppola has been an amazing person in my life. She was my professor from 2007-2009 and continues to be a part of my life today. Dr. C. is always here to give advice and help give direction. I can only hope to be such an inspiration and motivator.

I can agree that she is quite unorganized. I was very confused on what to do in the beginning, but you pretty much teach elderly how to use technology for 7 weeks instead of class. There is also a research project, which can be time consuming. 3 online tests (easy) and weekly readings. She is very nice, though and genuinely cares!

first off she is very nice & a good person. this was the learning community course & while the experience is well worth it, the amount of work she gives during this course is crazy. she acts as if its the only class u r taking. she is also VERY unorganized and U WILL get lost on what she expects from u. i like her very much but too much busy work.

The professor while passionate is incredible disorganized. Class time is wasted on ridiculous powerpoints and discussions of the author of our textbook. I felt like I learned if anything from the course. Labs were a complete waste of time since we never did anything. She is a nice person though and each class is definitely an experience.

This lady ruined my gpa. I had an emergency and could not make it to the final, and when I contacted her shortly thereafter, she said that she would not let me take the final and that I was pretty much screwed and she did not want to do anything about it. You are much better off taking another professor who actually has a little compassion.

Great professor! you will learn A LOT! she gives a lot of work and sometimes it's too much, but just dont leave everything till the last minute and you'll be fine. It's a class that you will enjoy, especially if it's your major, otherwise it might be a bit hard. but excellent professor!
