Be careful if your not a Democrat. He told a me that he gave me a passing grade because he liked my scathing comments on the Bush administration. Others that did not agree with him had a much tougher time in his class.

I appreciate the fact that he combines what some might call potentially "dry" material with riveting stories about his unbelievably hilarious experiences. His take on history and the way it is documented and interpreted has given me a better grasp on its relevance. Lily white LVC needs him!

He made comments that were crude and had nothing to do with the subject material. He read directly to the class from the text books, and was rude and had no time to help the students. JP seriously needs an attitude adjustment and until then I would never take another class taught by him.

Yes JP has hilarious stories, but what's that got to do with history? He blew by all the material, (so he could get on with his stories) and often was the first one to leave the class at dismissal. He made the students feel stupid for asking questions.

Prof. Bennowitz has a great sense of humor. I love his class, he makes things so interresting. There is never a dull moment, and it is SO EASY to get him off task by getting him to tell one of his crazy stories! Bennowitz is one of my favorite professors!
