Dr. Smith is a truly wonderful prof. and man. He has so many fascinating stories, and his views are a breath of fresh air for WV. He brings some sophistication to Marshall. I think everyone in the class loved him except the guy who fell asleep all the time. He even invited us to dinner at his house. You will have to write a HUGE term paper.

This guy was nominated for a pulitzer prize: out of 3 people in the nation. I got an A in the class. This guy really has a passion for the politics in this nation. He made me want to learn more about the political system. Take him if you get a chance.

He is such a cute old man. His class is extremely simple, just show up and get the study guide, look everything on it up in the book and you will be fine. If you want an A, make the long essay 4-5 pages. It really is an easy A. He's quite the liberal tho.
