overall a great class to have taken. Professor Jeannie is very approachable and helpful in all aspects of the class. requires some reading, but nothing more than I've gotten in other classes. by far one of the best professors I've had yet.

Jeannie is an excellent professor. This course was very challenging. My life revolved around women's studies for the semester. We read four novels, four exams, two event critiques, and a final project. you have to PARTICIPATE to receive a good grade. Jeannie is very funny and understanding. No text book, just have to buy the four novels.

Her class is easy and fun as long as you attend class and read the material (mostly novels and articles). Discussion is always interesting, grading is fair (you get to decide how it is distributed) and the projects are fun. The class isn't all about women but more about race, sexuality and human rights. Loved it!

This lady talks a hard game and I was wary of not getting a good grade. However, do the readings and PARTICIPATE and you'll be fine. I think she likes to almost intimidate students at the beginning. Stick with it. She is very amiable and understanding.

Amazing teacher. She has a lot of empathy for students and makes everyone feel comfortable on the most uncomfortable of subjects. If things are difficult to understand, she won't hesitate to clarify. Very approachable. Best teacher I've had.
