Prof Adams is a decent professor. Has an interesting teaching style but makes the content interesting. He is also finds a way to make the content engaging through the worksheets and quizzes. The class is difficult but if you stick to the homework and lectures you will do good. He tries to make it as easy as possible because he knows it can be hard

Jeff is a great professor. I am in his statistics class and it is not easy but the chance to do well is always in arms reach. There's SONA, quizzes, in-classes, tests, and papers that give you chance to boost your mark. As long as you try to pay attention in class, complete the in-classes and understand the math, you'll be just fine!

Psyc 2018 is such a dry course, but Adams finds a way to make it as interesting as he can. His lectures are very informative and will go a long way to helping you understand the important concepts. Show up, ask questions, do your homework and you will succeed. He has a lot of assignments but exist to make sure you have a solid base of knowledge.

A lot of students say that he is a bad professor, but I don't see it. He's an amazing man who is very intelligent and willing to accommodate students who come to him. Need to write that quiz early? Sure. Need an extension? Go to him early. He has helped me out immensely, and it's safe to say that he's probably my favourite professor at Trent.

He seems like a nice guy, but does NOT know how to give a good, engaging lecture... feels like the 3 hours go on forever! Homework assignments and quizzes every week keep you on track, but add unnecessary repetitive work to your overall school load. He also has VERY unclear grading criteria... like read the assignment sheet 10 times unclear....

quizzes every week, homework everyweek. If your a procrastinator like me, that really helps keep you motivated. Multiple choice final was easy. Gives very good instructions for assignemnts, will repsond to emails and spells everything. If you do the work you ll get an A+

Really nice guy, but his lectures feel like FOREVER... uses the whole 3 hours with only one break. You can tell he's passionate, but he just goes on about the same stuff for way too long. He's not horrible or anything, but it's definitely hard to sit through one of his lectures without getting bored.

Dry. Boring. I am actually sitting in one of his lectures right now...he just goes on and on and on, like we got it the first time. He constantly repeats the same thing just using different words.

Adams is an experienced professor. His lecture notes are organized, and built from years of fine-tuning. His voice is melodic and engaging, despite the lecture material (which is often very dry). He is helpful, but can be (or at least seem) condescending at times. I'd say he's the ideal 1st-year prof, as his teaching style lends itself to basics.

Easiest 1st year class, dont even have to go as long as you study his power points and attend his multiple choice tests. Pretty nice guy, but is a boring lecturer

Warning: Extremely dry humor. I found him hilarious, but alot of people don't get his jokes. Great class. Material isn't hard, but you need to pay attention. Exams aren't too hard if you study; easy to approach, and helpful if you ask questions. Take his class in Oshawa instead of the Peterborough course for first year!

Adams is an awesome teacher! I love his sarcastic jokes. I kill myself sometimes laughing. I love how he uses powerpoint and we can print the slides ourselves. He explains stuff really well and gives lots of examples. The class isn't a breeze though, it's still lots of work but very very fascinating. You really have to be interested in the course.

He is so boring! And he is so unfair. He drags classes on for the full 3 hrs and only give one 10min break within the first hr (how r ppl expected to stay awake for the last 2 hrs). He was not helpful and he chose favourites! If u can avoid taking his class i would (which I am).

This man is a waste of good****. The terms boring, dry, dull and uninteresting only scratch the surface. During his class I contemplated removing my own appendix with a dull butter knife to keep awake. I now work in neuroscience research (no thanks to Jeff) and can confidently say that his class failed to provide me with anything of real value.
