The 'textbook' he made us all buy was completely written by him and made absolutely no sense at all (there were typos on almost every page too). He does little to explain the material he teaches and never answers students questions clearly or directly. Looking back at the course as a whole, I really wish I had another professor.

I remember looking this prof up before I started and was terrified since all of his reviews were awful (and I suck at math). Quizzes build off the same material and look almost identical. Don't talk when DJ is talking, BRING SCANTRONS FOR QUIZZES, and print double sided. DJ is VERY particular but this class is doable & actually interesting. Easyyy

Weird professor, but super easy course. He tests you on the exact same material TWICE to make sure everybody understands it. If you go over the material at least once before a quiz you will be totally fine. People make him seem like a horrible professor, but honestly it was one of the easiest courses I've taken so far. Just be respectful in class.

Dr. Johnson treats this class more so as a major requirement versus a general education course; be ready to read and actually do the practice problems. Learn the basics right away, everything builds off each other. Its clear he cares about the class and topics at hand. Hes tough but worth it, especially to actually learn the material.

All he does is talks in circles, never actually explains in a way you can understand. He uses his own book and thinks it's amazing, its not. If you need this class, find another professor. Again find another professor. This class is very, very difficult to pass if you have no background in statistics.

Professor Johnson makes Stats 110 almost impossible. Do not take his class. Everything you do needs to be a certain way otherwise he will doc points. It is also hard to keep track of anything because he uses links for all assignments yet he does not use d2l. Just get a different professor, trust me.

Dr. Johnson was okay. His method of teaching is confusing and he writes his own textbook so you only get the lessons from his point of view. I learned quite a bit about interpretation (not so much the math behind it). The nice thing about this class is that there are a LOT of points so you don't have to do perfect on everything.

Quizzes, quizzes, quizzes. Has strong opinions, and is rude. Makes lots of mistakes so if you do things early, you have to redo them because when he makes a mistake, he assigns a new assignment. Take a different professor!

Overall he is a great prof. He cares about his classes and puts a lot of effort into them. The only thing is that he doesn't give a lot of feedback before assignments are graded and he does not accept any excuses. Don't let his syllabus scare you.

Take this class with a different professor! No feedback from assignments or exams. No published textbook, he wrote his own and ideas are hard to follow. Compared to other students taking STAT 110, we did not do what other classes were doing. some topics were way more in depth than they should have been. I did not learn what I need to. Waste of time

Attendance is not taken so you can easily get away with skipping. However you have quizzes on most days so you cant skip unless you want to lose points. His lectures can get very long and boring. Homework consists of practice problems, take home quizzes, and JMP assignments. On a majority of his practice problems there are wrong answers.

This was the easiest college class I've taken so far. He goes over the material step by step in class to help you understand what he's teaching. He's pretty anal about grading assignments and there are lots of in class quizzes and take home quizzes, but if you show up to class and pay attention it's an easy A.

Read the material, ask questions, go to office hours. Most of the students in my class this semester skipped too frequently, didn't read homework assignments, and didn't do practice problems. He's a little eccentric, but interesting. Go to his office hours ASAP if you don't understand something. By far one of the easiest A's I've got.

This was one of the hardest classes I've taken. In class, DJ was absolutely horrible. lectures did not make sense at all and homework on jump was irrelevant. But, 1 on 1, DJ was incredibly helpful. If i would have went to office hours sooner in the semester, I would have learned more and gotten a better grade

He is by far the worst professor and teacher that I have had in all my years of schooling. He does not give clear instructions for jmp assignments so be prepared to teach yourself which is nearly impossible. Also he writes his own textbook, that doesn't make sense and be prepared to take a test everyday in class that is on everything but stats.

Dr. D-J really sticks to his guns. Read his syllabus, all the things he says he will not make exceptions for are ACTUALLY THINGS HE WILL NEVER MAKE EXCEPTIONS FOR. This includes but is not limited to things like contracting AIDS, having a baby or other similar life changing obstacles that might prevent you from getting something done for his class.

I have never met a professor that is so confusing in my life. He makes his own textbook so it is all off of his own knowledge and he teaches the way that he knows things. He is not willing to help understand in a different way even though he says he is. I can not say that I have ever been so confused in my life.

He really and truly cares about what he is teaching. His lectures have energy, but he often is bad at "dumbing it down" for his students. His JMP assignments are tedious, but the millions of quizzes he assigns are a piece of cake if you pay attention. He also made his own ridiculously cheap textbook, so you don't have to buy one. Would take again.

DJ is a good teacher, if you get a bad grade you are just lazy. His jump assignments seem like a lot but once you get the hang of them they aren't hard and just help your grade. If you pay attention you will do well on his quizzes. He is also a very nice guy and cares a lot about what he is teaching.
