Professor Holt is a great professor if you want to know Econ. He wrote his own book, and all of the material is synchronized perfectly. The class itself wasn't difficult. I just highlighted, in my book, what he wrote on the board, studied it, and got an A. Highly recommend taking his class!

Comment:

Amazing teacher. I was taking micro and macro for the first time together (different teachers) but Jeff makes Micro so easy to understand and makes his lectures very enjoyable and funny. I never did great on the tests he gave, they were somewhat difficult. Would absolutely take again though, one of if not the best professor Ive taken at TCC.

His class was very interesting. I really enjoyed going to class. He is very passionate about economics and goes over all the information during his lectures that will be in the test. He does provide study guides for all his test. Make sure to keep up with his lectures and study up on the homework and study guide to succeed in the class.

This man is a pure genius when it comes to breaking down economics in an understandable manner. Attendance wasn't required for the course but I came to class every single time just because he made it fascinating. If you get the textbook, the homework is completely effortless and the tests are only as hard as you make them.

Jeff is a great professor. Quiz due at the start of every class. 4 tests and 4 homeworks for Microeconomics. He brings brownies if the class has perfect attendance. I'd take this course again if I could.

Highly recommend this class. It is clear what is expected of you. Usually have take home quizzes due at the start of every class. If you study for his exams and attend class, you can pass with an A.

Mr. Holt is a great and awesome teacher, there is a quiz mostly every class period, which are easy, but if you don't do the homework and study for the exams you won't pass the actual exams. He is a great teacher, pay attention and show up to class you will easily pass with a C.

One of the best professors I've had a TCC. Definitely read the chapters before going to class to make it easier on you. Homework and take home quiz points matter and can really help you out. Do the practice exams in the textbook and the ones he gives you and you'll be fine.

I've had Holt for two classes now and he is a very good professor. The textbook is cheap, points are easy to rack up outside of exams, and if you work hard, you'll get an A. Also, please please for the love of your classmates, DO NOT SKIP!!! He gives brownies for perfect attendance. Keep your classmates happy and show up to class!

Holt is a TCC legend he's by far one of the best professors I've ever had! He really cares about the material he's teaching and makes learning it fun. Took Macro last semester and had a great time and am now taking Micro and love it so far!

Holt is amazing. His tests are a little hard but his study guide clearly goes over the study guide. The textbook he actually wrote. Also please, please do your fellow man a favor and never miss a class. Holt makes really good brownies when there is perfect attendance. Someone kept missing so we didn't get brownies that often.

Awesome guy. I plan to take him for Macro in addition to the Micro course i am currently in. If you pay attention in lecture and do the VERY minimal amount of work he give you, plan on an A.

This is the only class I have ever taken where I will actually miss going. He is so good at teaching this subject! He makes me excited to learn every time. I took Micro and Macro with him and I learned so much. Tons of easy point opportunities from simple take home quizzes so if you aren't a good exam taker this helps a lot!
