Loves to make you feel like an idiot. It seems like he gets a high on making his students feel dumb. The best thing to do is go to class, don't ask him any questions and try to figure the material on your own, ask another classmate if you need to. Just make sure to stay clear of him.

His shirts are way too tight and prevent the oxygen from getting to his brain, therefore not a great teacher when it comes to learning. Stay away! He knows too much insect knowledge...his lectures are all powerpoint and shows many boring old time videos. can't stay awake in class. participation counts!

Not a bad teacher,but sometimes I felt like he was giving more of a presentation than a lecture. Memorizing the stuff from the CD and lab manual actually might be more efficient than trying to pay attention to details in class. Class is not hard, but memorization city.He is great most times but snappy on other days, which explains the mixed ratings

He is suffering from Tall man syndrome (from taking all those roids.) Where's his neck? He not a reasonable man that doesn't admit when he's wrong even when he was unclear in giving direction. In my opinion he's an ****. Buy him a six pack, and kiss his ass and you'll get an A in the class.

hard but rewarding. Lower division folk just dont understand how hard upper division Bio classes are so dont pay any attention to the comments left before. He is very helpful and knowledgable in the insect realm, plus he attended UCR which is worlclass.
