Comment:

The best math teacher I've ever had in my life. So clear and concise. It's clear that he wants every one of his students to succeed and really cares if you actually understand the material. I usually hate math but he made it almost enjoyable. You get points added to your grade just for participating in class exercises. Very approachable, great guy.

Jeff is a great teacher and is well respected by the whole class. He does a daily problem for extra credit every class. I only used my textbook for the homework because his lectures covered everything you need to know for tests. As long as you take notes and follow along in class, it should be an easy A. Also only one homework assignment a week

Jeff is clear. It is obvious that the everyone in the course struggles with math- Jeff is concise and shows care and compassion in his students struggles.

Great professor. His lectures are clear and to the point, he's specific and concise. He always offers help. No quizzes, three exams and a final exam. His exams are fair. Homework isn't too bad.

Jeff is a really great professor. I had him for a year of precalc. His motto is truly just show up, do your work, and you'll pass with flying colors. He is a great teacher and each class has one class exercise that if you attempt you'll get extra credit for at the end of the semester. His exams are only 25 questions but they're easy. Take Jeff!!!

Jeff is a great teacher and makes his lectures fly by, the best part is that you're learning without even feeling like it. definitely take this class, especially if calc isn't required. the homework isn't too difficult, and the TA's will go over any homework questions before it's due which really helps. tests are easy multiple choice. no complaints

Took this as a freshman, 3 exams make up 60%, 20% homework, and 20% final. Extra credit is given for just going to class and the discussions. Good teacher, easy notes, easy homework. One homework per week takes less than an hour. Taught us well, and the math you learn is actually useful, unlike calc. Def take this.

pretty straightforward, shows you how to do the problems and then makes you practice one in class. Homework is online and pretty easy, tests are pretty easy too depending if you review or not. Overall great professor :)

Great guy. Cares about his students and wants them to do well. Very accessible outside class. Will go over concepts until everyone understands. Gives extra credit points as an incentive for attending lecture and discussion.

Math was never my strong suite but Jeff is really good at explaining concepts and is always ready to answer questions. He makes himself readily available for extra help and the exams aren't really that hard! As long as you show up to class and do the homework you won't have a problem passing. Also gives extra credit for coming to class

Jeff is a great professor. He cares a lot, and takes the time to really walk you through the steps and concepts. Showing up is kind of extra credit, which is a great incentive to show up to class. 3 exams and a final, and homework is all on MyMathLab. I'd recommend taking any math class with him!

Jeff is an amazing professor! Math is not one of my favorite subjects, but I had to take 121 for my major. Highly recommend. However, make sure you go to class and take the notes! Jeff makes the big lecture feel like a small class and he always relates the material to Business or Psychology, so it's not boring. The tests are straight-forward.

I took Math 104 with Jeff, and his teaching style made everything easy to understand. His tests were for the most part fair and straightforward, and I would highly recommend taking his course.
