Took for Clinical Neuro, super easy class. There are random pop chapter quizzes but I never read and got 90's on all of them. Exams are easy if you just go over the lecture slides. Kind of boring lecture but SUCH a nice professor. Actually told us what we could do with a neuro degree at the end of the semester (ya know since know one ever tells us)

Really hard but interesting class. You must do the readings which are 20-40 pgs because there are quizzes before every class and they add up to 40% of your grade. He gives you the questions on the exams. He'll tell you to pick 3/4 questions and then on the exam you'll only have to do 2. Only a midterm and a final. A challenge, but recommended.

Ton of reading before class-text and articles. Quizzes on reading for each class-hard but doable if you read thoroughly and the day before class (it's a lot to remember!) 3 presentations each which everybody does well on. Very interesting material. I got A- but I don't think anyone gets solid As (maybe grad students?). Good class overall though

Awesome man - if you have ever taken drugs and the brain, this class is essentially the same and you will certainly earn an A. Grading includes online discussion, presentations, and some small clicker quizzes. In fact, there was no final for this course! Very smart, understanding, interesting professor and a very exciting, easy course.

Class is tough. you have to read a chapter or 2 a week and they are long. you are quizzed on the readings before he goes over everything so you really do need to read. Exams aren't too bad he gives you the questions ahead of time. attendance is mandatory, write down everything he says in lecture because that's whats on the test. laid back guy.

This class was very interesting, as well as very involved. Textbook use is high and the chapters are like 40+ pages. Rosen was a laid back guy but often had trouble explaining things in his lecture. Two exams, weekly quizzes, & a presentation are your grade. Read the book and ask questions and you'll be fine.

It's a difficult course, but if you actually go to lecture and read the text you'll do fine. There's only a midterm and final, but quizzes every week. Quizzes aren't terrible, but make sure you READ the chapter, if you do, you'll be fine. Thought I failed the midterm, but got a B.

He's a real cool dude. He's very good at answering questions and responding to emails. The quizzes are getting harder. The discussion sections are alright but it's obvious some people are stuck in their viewpoints and agree with everything they see in drug propaganda within the media-it's sad.

Drugs and the brain...do not like the debates about what everyone else thinks about drugs and society. I feel like it is a waste of time, and I would rather learn more about drugs and the BRAIN. He is a very nice guy, though.

My favorite class ever! I got to talk about drugs for 3 hours. You need a neuroscience class before hand or you WILL struggle. You learn a ton and realize that all the**** you were taught by DARE was bogus and that drug testing and the prohibition of drugs is unconstitutional. I highly recommended it! P.S. Addiction is a choice

Actually Brain and Behavior isn't a prerequisite but it definitely should be!! Even though I did well in this class it was because of Skeen not Rosen...I wouldn't take it especially if you are interested in neuroscience. This class may make you hate it!

the reason he expects u to know stuff from 314 is b/c its a prerequisite!! this class is great, rosen is beyond helpful. this class is more for ppl into the bio/neuroscience aspect of psych so those of u who want to work w/ little kids will prob. find it impossible. quizzes are easy & make sure u stay on track. presentation helps u learn soo much!!

I am taking this class now and if you haven't taken Brain and Behavior with Dr. Skeen do not take this class. Pretty much Rosen expects you to take Skeen's class to help teach what you will NOT learn in this class but will be expected to know. Not a lot of interesting information, doesn't really teach in his lectures, and quite a bit of reading
