This class wasn't too bad. Dr. Wardlaw isn't the most charming guy and he can be a bit two-faced at times. But if you need help you can at least try to ask but if he starts to sound frustrated or snippy, walk away and try again on another day.

I have never met a more caring, dedicated professor. Is he tough? Yes! Does this make you a better educator in the end? Oh, yeah!! The only people whining are the ones who didn't do well and are looking for someone to blame besides themselves. They need to take some accountability for their failures.

Dr. Wardlaw is a caring professional. He is the reason I did not change my major?he sat me down and convinced me that music education was my calling. For the record: being a difficult teacher is not a bad thing! I learned so much from him.

i cannot get over a comment he made to an incoming freshmen at orientation-profs are not supposed to discourage future students at clarion. he's rude and very unfair...the grades should prove a lot, but when chair of the music dept. deliberately fails students b/c they are non-majors, his job should be reconsidered...very, very well...

Very helpful, especially in one on one lessons. Don't let that "grumpy face" scare you, he really does care. He's more concerned with his students well being than his own. You'll see him there all hours of the night and he's always willing to help you with ANYTHING, even when he's stressed out!! He's a true PROFESSOR!!
