When you earn your first A plus from a professor it would seem right to just say positive things. I can't do that. The course could have been better. I don't know who makes course decisions but Jenna sure did try her best to make a boring subject interesting.

Interesting course so Dr. Hennebry's flexibility was really valued by students like me. I wish that other professors were as understanding as she is. She's no chicken and will fight for you if there are examination schedule problems and stuff like that.

I took so many courses just because she taught them. Wow! The number one person who helped me get into graduate school. She's a serious professor who will help you get into graduate schools that you really want to get into, if you know what I mean.

Inspired me to take sociology! I don't think that much of stylish people in general so I was surprised that this professor's style was just right for the setting. She knows lots about the city so just ask her. The only problem with this class is that it ended sooner than I wanted it to. A full-year course would have been way better. Recommended!

Very strange class, but what can you expect? She's busy with her research, and she isn't afraid to let you know it. She could probably lecture a bit more clearly so that it would be easier to take notes. Hard to find her outside of class, but is really helpful in class.

Extremely knowledgeable, kind, and hilarious. Jenna encourages you to think critically and practically. The class assignments consisted of a legal review, shadow report, and fact sheet. All of which are necessary skills for the non-profit or policy-advocacy sector. For anyone interested in migration, Jenna's course is a must.

Adjusted class time to start 0.5 hr later, causing the class to run 30-60 min overtime often. Over the term, students contacted her with questions for assignments. Never received responses 95% of the time. 100% NO COMMUNICATION up to assignment deadline.s Promised samples/explanations never supplied. Heavily biased. Inability to be dispassionate.

Dr.Hennebry is one of the best profs I have ever had. She is brilliant, experienced, and culturally interesting. Her classes are engaging and this is because of her interest in the information!! Take her classes!!!!

CS23 = (bad) Teacher = (great). She readily took the time to meet with me about the big project and I'm sure my mark was 10% higher as a result. She's down to earth and approachable. If you have any worries about the class - go talk to her she is supportive. Learns student names despite huge class.

235 wasn't a great class but she made the material more interesting than what most profs would hav. 310 was such a good class, especially with her because she was right into it. I suggest if you have to take 235, make sure you have Jenna. and definitely take 310.
