Comment:
Hard prof based on teaching style. Gives out small handouts that add up. Sometimes up to three handouts and expected to finish by the end of class with no time or help given, shows easy examples but expects answers to harder questions for assigments and tests. Good: all test q's are from textbook Bad: textbook doesn't say how it got the answer

Hilariously eccentric, and a fantastic prof. She was the highlight of my semester. Everything is explained clearly and she does her best with explaining concept. Hints are given for what will be on tests. If you study you'll do well

Jennifer was very helpful and understanding, such easy marks are attainable in her class. Tests are however very heavy as there is a lot of information learned in the course. She posts EVERYTHING to blackboard which is so useful if you can't make it to class. She does go off on tangents quite often and has stutter, but you get used to it! Reccomend

She's a nice and easygoing teacher. She shows everything very clear in her class, but the mid-term exams and the final are not easy at all. Even though you get every single paper from her class, that's not enough for the exams. You have to do the homework after class. You might get B or B Plus. It's not easy to get into A range in her class.

She's a nice person. Her tests are difficult. Even though she gives many hand-outs and quizzes in class, but those are not very related to the homework questions and exams. You have to read your textbook that is for sure, if you want to get a good grade in her class.

Take if you like to be talked to as if you are in grade 5 and enjoy incessant verbal diarrhea with chronic departures into the irrelevant . A domineering personality that often borders on rude which makes it hard to approach her for help. No class participation. Passionate about physics but her style is suited for elementary school not college.

First of all, her lectures are really not related to the tests. Gives to many pointless handouts. Most of the time I was not able to tell if she is just talking or actually explaining. She gave me a guide on what to study in order to get good mark, I followed the guide and then there was only 3 questions. The labs are really bad and not clear.

Just attend classes and keep up with the notes. Her exams are pretty straightforward. However, as an individual, she is very rude and disrespectful. She doesn't offer any explanations, and pretty much yells at you every time you try to ask something. She is definitely passionate about the subject, but doesn't care at all about her students.

Avoid the Physics department at Douglas college altogether. Really, these people should all be fired or retire and bring in some new instructors. They have no idea what are testing you one when they make up exams and make finals so long . They are tuff markers who look for ways to get you on tests rather than test you on what you learned.

She was very passionate on her class and was willing to ask students' question. However, her lecture isn't related to her exams, and she moves too fast on definitions, which is very important on physics, thus making her class not worth spending your time.

I have never understood physics this way, Jennifer is a great instructor who explains every concept thoroughly and makes you apply it too! The only thing is that she is a hard marker and takes tons of marks off for little errors. She also puts some questions on the test that really trick you and theres questions you have never seen before.

This prof is awesome. Her handouts are the key to doing well. Especially practice exams. I got an A- in her class, and I didn't even try. You have to have basic algebra skills in order to do this course...because i saw some people struggling, but that's because they suck at basic math which is really tood bad for them.

Gives out tons of notes that only have easy physics problems and that's pretty much it, which is pointless as the text book have tons of questions for you to do already. Unfair marking. She takes TONS of marks off if you don't understand a physics "concept" which usually involves silly math errors. Read the text book instead

Super super super easy. I would definitely recommend her, and take another class with her in a heartbeat. She actually likes what she's teaching, she covers everything, she gives out a lot of handouts but it's not necessarily a bad thing; none of them are taken in for marks, it's just going over the theories. Definitely an easy A.

I really hated her class. She is very unprofessional and care-free, and not in a good way. The in-class labs and exercises were quite pointless and a huge waste of time. An easy class though, the marks are easy to obtain if you're even close to the right answer.

Her lecture is just great. She hands out in-class assignments which are easy (she goes over them with you) and it's a giveaway mark. It's easy to predict what would be on the exams as exam questions are directly from the class notes and assignments. But sometimes textbook questions are on the exam. Go to class and study. You will get B or above.

Wonderful prof. Much better than most university professors. Her lectures and teaching material were very clear. Is been a few years since I took her courses but I remember that she used a ton of overheads.
