Professor Moxley is my absolute, hands down favorite professor I've had. She gets to know your work well enough to recommend work for you to read that you could use as mentor texts. She encourages all insights in pieces of work. She will push you outside your comfort zone and make sure you make statements with confidence before leaving her class.

Jen is the best. Makes you want to be her friend rather than professor just to hear everything she has to say about the world.

Jennifer Moxley makes you want to attend class. She always has a fun lecture prepared for the day, she respects students when they speak, and she understands the life of a student. If you put in your best effort, you'll do fine in her class and have fun doing so.

I took a whole year with Prof. Moxley, including a poetry workshop. She helped me as a writer and helped me become more knowledgeable on the subject of poetry. She was not an easy grader, however, if you approach her with any question she is quick to answer. She dislikes know-it-alls, which is helpful to those of us who actually wanted to learn.

Moxley is an excellent teacher, and she's a cool person. If you want to talk to her about class, she gladly will speak with you. And, if you are interested in other English-related stuff, she'll talk with you about that too! She also referenced The Smiths in class. How cool!?

Wish the handouts were more in depth. Maybe essays on the things covered in the class instead of just definitions. there is a final in this class, which is kind of weird, because in English they usually just have papers.

Beautiful class, beautiful professor: well prepared, fair, prompt with assignments/ exams and clear on expectations. Cute to boot, she says the darndest things and her facial expressions are hilarious. She is intimidating at first, but don't let her bluntness turn you away.

she's not narrow-minded. students just say dumb things and don't know what they're talking about. She knows the right answer and if you raise your hand and say something dumb, you deserve a weird look. I learned a lot in class and would recommend it to anyone who's interested in their education... easy on the eyes too.

I would strongly recommend this professor. She is challenging, but you actually learn something. She made her classes interesting and is very knowlegable about her topics. Grades papers kind of hard, but she lets you make them up as many times as you want.

Her approach to Honors is well-balanced. All texts are given importance and thoroughly investigated. Papers encourage a heightened understanding of material. Workload is fair. This class is manageable but challenging-- the type of course the Honors college should boast about.

I did not like her at all. I swear she flirted with this one guy in class. She was narrow-minded about others' opinions. SHE HAS AN INTENIONAL LISP! That's all I gotta say....
