she sucks! she's a really really tough grader and she does not make the class atmosphere easier to speak in. she makes everything harder and causes tension in the classroom that makes you nervous when you speak. don't expect ever to get a good grade in this class on a speak.

I would not recommend her. She gives out grades based on how well your first speech goes and doesn't take your improvement into account. I worked really hard on improving my speeches and she always just gives the same grade. A 100 level class should not be that hard to get an A in. I have a higher grade in a 300 level business course than this.

This class was wonderful. She's a very good teacher and knows what she's talking about. The two big papers are on whatever you want. There are 4 smaller papers (2-5 pages). Class is interesting and flies by. I'd totally recommend her. All research classes are a ****; but you'll learn something from her. She's not that tough of a grader.

Hot for an older professor, see her at office hours, ask for help, participate, do all the easy papers (worst gets dropped), study hard for mid-term and final (tough stuff), do ALL HW, nice lady, pretty nice grader as well, HIGHLY recommended

Great class, very enjoyable. She expects a lot from your speeches but not hard to get an A if you are prepared. Very nice and reasonable and a lot grades so you won't get stuck. Readings are short and quizzes are easy. Take this class.

Took her for Comm Principles and then Research b/c she's just that great. She's funny and her classes are the most laid-back I've ever had. The time flies and I never feel as if class drags. The big papers are not hard either because you choose to write it on something that interests you. TAKE HER!

Not alot of work. You can bring notes to the tests but she makes them super hard (She hardly teaches what's on them.) Alot of discussion in class which is cool. But I dunno, something about the class just bothered the hell out of me.
