Yes this class was not fun and yeah it was really hard, but Tessendorf actually made you learn the material and understand it instead of just letting you slide. Wish I tried harder in the beginning so I could have gotten a better grade, but I passed. Very clear about what she expects. Do what she says and don't think you know better.

Very demanding teacher, she expects a lot of learning out of her students in very short periods of time. You either got it or you didn't by the way she taught things. She properly gives you what you need to study for tests and overall is a pretty cool person. I'd only recommend the class is you love economics

I had her my first semester at HWS, and I have to say that taking her class prepared me for the next seven semesters at HWS. She is probably the best professor at HWS- very thorough, always willing to help, extremely knowledgeable and somehow always manages to ensure that students are keeping up. Do yourself a favor and take a class with her!

Best Prof ever.Very caring and helping. Totally understands you, helps you with class participation if you are shy.But the only bad thing is that she is kind of tough with the grades,she expects a lot,and does a lot for a student.She's just the Best!I would definitely recommend taking a class with her,and I would want to take another class with her

Alright, Listen I am taking her class right now, I think she is a great prof. She knows what she is doing, and she can def. teach. BUT her tests are VERY unfair, unless you cram everything within the chapters of the test and memorize the muliple choice in the study guide, Don't expect to pass. Good

Always willing to help; lab sessions, TAs, reviews. Lets you sit in her office and do your problem sets (also online ones) so you get full credit for them--which is good as its a very fast paced course. Don't ever fall behind because you are dead then!

Don't take this class if you hate having HW due every class meeting. Girls typically like her & do better then guys. She uses an online service to quiz you on Sunday night. in addition to regular HW. Tests are hard. She makes it harder than most prof.
