I don't want to seem disrespectful but he is so cute! And encouraging, as a freshman it meant a lot to me that he took the time to write comments like "better than expected!" or pull me aside after my presentation to tell me how impressed he was.

At first i had no interest in this class and so just taking it as a requirement but his teaching actually made me interested in the materials. Pivotal moments of capitalism, seems boring, but u learn SO much. and best part is that at the end of the semester you and him meet and decide on a final grade 2gether. hes AWESOME. Nice guy!

He speaks in a monotone with a German accent in a way that caused me to space out pretty much every day. But he is really sweet, really cares about his students, and is extremely passionate about the course material. Very understanding and willing to give extra help. So basically he's a great, smart guy, but not very exciting.

Learnt a lot in this class - economics with a tinge of history and politics. It was really interesting but not all topics were discussed in detail in class due to time constraint. It was one of my favorite classes. Great professor, very approachable and nice to talk to.

The material covered is very interesting, the only challenge is the very fast pace of the class. Sometimes some ideas are not explained as much, which is challenging for people who've never taken econ classes before. For tests there are study questions, which helps...Sparked more interest in economics.

Nice prof. Can't teach though. He is rather boring and wants the class to carry on the lecture and teach. He is very biased, self-righteous, and left wing. He throws in macro theory and a lot of Marx. Doesnt explain things well. Papers are easy. midterms are ridiculous.
