He is a nice guy, very light workload for an upper level course. Very laidback atmosphere in class. He doesn't grade hard, so long as you have some idea of what you're talking about and its relevant. Books he chose were mostly very interesting. I recommend taking a class with Durick.

Almost impossible to take notes becuase his lectures arent structured. He does give out study sheets of exactly what is on the test, but as for actually learning anything from him...no. the class might as well have been taught by someone with no english background.
