Comment:
I did not expect to become borderline-obsessed with European housing policy, but here I am almost a year later and still thinking/reading about it. King's classes are NOT FOR SLACKERS. The reading load is VERY heavy, and he expects you to know your stuff. He is not a difficult grader when it comes to papers - he appreciates genuine effort.

If you love history, you'll love King's class. He's a true nerd, and very funny. Made me switch back to a history major. Participation 100% matters but he makes it worth it. Easy to reach outside of class, let's you sit in and just talk with him. Readings are long but he explains them well in class. Must take a class w him before graduating.

One of the most compassionate professors out there. He truly cares about his students, especially if you go to office hours! I would take a million more classes with him if only he taught at a time other than 8:35am! Way too early for me. My only complaint was the insane amount of reading he assigned. Impossible to keep up with it all.

Jermey is a tremendously dedicated human being. He wants to ensure that you get the most from your college experience, and shows it through his expectations of his students and above-and-beyond attention to learning. He's not the professor for everyone, but his class is great, even if you're not particularly interested in Central European History.

I stumbled into this class but I'm very glad I did! The reviews are right on the money. Professor King is amazing. It's impossible to leave class without your mind racing. Lectures are interactive and insightful. Reading is long but still interesting. He's great about one-on-one and office hours. If you have a chance, take a Jeremy King class!

One of the best professors I've had at MHC! He will really challenge you to dig into the material--slackers beware! But he's more than willing to talk to students outside of class, extremely approachable. Clearly loves what he does. What more can you ask for?

Clear and thoughtful, Always do the reading because he *will* call on you the one day you haven't read. Willing to help you out etc The exams are a bit frustrating because sometimes you feel you have to reinvent the wheel, but as cheesy as it sounds he really is doing it for your own good and if you take a bit to think about it, it will all click.
