An enthusiastic person, loves his job, but doesn't do the best job as a teacher. Assumes what he know is always correct never ready to accept changes, if you solved anything not exactly the way he taught he would not give you marks or if there is a calculation error massive marks deducted, despite the concept being right. Not available after class

Took his summer Micro course. Lecture material was directly from notes, but he moved at a good pace that made it easier to keep focused. Assignments were hard but midterm and final were relatively easy. I'd recommend, at least based on his summer course.

Do not take any classes with this teacher. You can't understand a word he says. All he does is read his lecture notes which makes no sense. There is no point in attending class. Because you can't understand what he is saying, because he has a strong accent, you basically have to teach your self the material. -_-

Very bad lecturer. Many of his lectures contain mistakes and will even teach incorrect material. Very lazy and most of the material on the final was either not covered at all or was covered in the last week of class. Avoid if at all possible.

Attending this class is a waste of time. Read the notes he posts, do the assignments and you should survive. He's a nice guy but not a great teacher.

Zhang is a horrible prof. This is obvious after attending the first class, agree? If you want to ace his course, do the assignments, make use of the TA if u don't understand. In final or midterm study the ASSIGNMENTS I guarantee you will get at least a B+.

Honestly, this prof wasn't too bad mainly because his the questions on the exams were straight from the lecture notes and assignments. His classes are kind of fun, and he'll make you laugh but don't expect to understand much in class. If you spend enough time on his notes and assignments, you'll ace this course.

Honestly, he wasn't the worst prof I had mainly because his exams were straight from the lecture notes and assignments. His classes were kind of fun, and he'll make you laugh. Don't buy the book. His notes can be very unclear at times, but if you spend time on them you'll ace this course.

The worst prof ever. His notes are useless and so is he. Not at all helpful during his office hours. Thinks he knows a lot but he doesn't. No point in buying his text book, he hardly refers to it.

This guy will act funny in class and you will laugh. Than you will realise that his handwriting makes no sense, the class notes make no sense, and he has no grasp of english. His standard answer to questions is "this is common sense". He told us to study assignment problems for the final... it ended up being all theory.

Nice guy, however his notes in class are unclear, focusses too much on theory, do the assignments, don't copy, Midterm was piece of cake, final had some surprises.
