I wish she was less ambiguous with her instructions. I feel that she is not as approachable if you are really not clear about her instructions. She hints frustration if you ask her too repeat herself, even if you only do it once. She's retiring so I don't think this comment matters much.

The class is a challenge, especially when you've never had a lab before. It was a great course though; I don't think I've ever learned so much in so short a time. It's a mind blower as far as accessibility of sciences to any regular old Jane.

Ugh, none of our labs ever worked(you think she'd check out the site beforehand), and being forced to write papers as a group lowered my grade significantly because my group was clueless. She is a very sweet person tho, I recommend getting to know her.

I AM IN LOVE WITH JILL!! I cannot believe someone left a bad mark. I got an amazing grade in her class because I worked my ass off for it. She is in the top of her field, and if you want to learn from the best, take her class.

Jill is great! She helped me to understand the scientific methodology and approach to environmental studies. As a social-sciences focus in ES, the course provided a chance to become well-versed in the natural sciences. Wetlands are her passion!

Jill is wicked smart. Honestly, it's not an "easy" class, but if you keep your **** together, go to class, pay attention and ask questions in lab, you'll do reasonably well. PS: the field trips are fun even if it's snowing.
