This class is really good about providing useful experience in the projects, and he deserves some credit for that, but the lectures were trash and the exams were awful. TAs? Just as out of the loop as the students. What does he want for the project deliverables? Who knows. Forensic assignments were enjoyable. Doesn't always respond to email.

Youll never be taught how to do any of the material in the course while doing a group project that has no clear guidelines. You will get a lot of assignments and have no idea your grade on them.

Glancey is a very knowledgeable man. For this class much of the lecture time was focused on guest speakers and more real world topics, but the homeworks were like problems from the textbook. Read the textbook and you'll be fine, he gives a lot of extra credit opportunities.

Rarely holds a full lecture, and when he does, he doesn't use it to teach the material that you'll be doing on the homework and exams. He's a solid guy outside of class and is pretty helpful, so maybe it was just the course. Attendance isn't required in the syllabus, but suddenly 2 absences is half a letter grade at the end of the semester. Yikes.

Nicest guy ever! Great professor- really wants you to understand and do well in his class. Applies what you learn to real life situations to make things interesting. Fun design and manufacturing projects.
