A lot of poeple are syaing not to go to class, but from my experience, you should go to class...but only once a week. Moves at a very slow pace, so if you go once a week it's the same same as going to any other class 3 times a week. if you're having trouble staying awake, watch how he shrugs his shoulders and how funny it is.

not going to lie, he's such a boring prof. will put anyone to sleep. makes you want to re-evaluate your life haha. really easy class if you do the examples before the exams. AIS book is retarded. no need to buy either book, take my word, save your money. and you dont need a clicker (unless you want to go to class)

What an aweful prof! Don't bother going to class, just make sure you do the assignments, memorize the AIS text and understand the slides. If you insist on attending his BORING BORING BORING lectures, don't be surprised to be soon calling it "nap time". He may seem nice in class but he hates people who ask for help.

He explains thing very well, but things tend to get quite repetitive... Comp sci 032 is an easy class to teach to yourself *just read the textbook*. At exam time, he helps you out a lot by putting all the class notes, examples, sample exams, etc... on the class webpage. Go to class only to do the clickers/worksheets.. they actually help too!

i went to about 3 classes all year. 2 at the beginning of the year, and one near the final exam time. the lecture room was absolutely packed the first two classes, but then i found myself with maybe 20 students the last class i went, half of which were asleep a good 40 of the 50 minutes he was "ummmmmmmm"ing.

The class has over 300 people in it and you people are suprised that he doesnt make it an individual experience. He teaches what hes told to teach, only a good 3/4 of the class dont listen and just talk amongst themselves then cry when the exam bites them in the ass. Welcome to university.

HWAT?! ok...yeah...He is NOT a jerk. By far the kindest prof. Yes...he is boring....yes he often mumbles so bad that you can't understand him - but that's no big deal.
