After 16 or more years of schooling as a student, I can only say how much I would like to have had Prof. M. as a teacher during any one of those years and not just the last one. What a great teacher! I understand that he is going to retire. Too bad. Nipissing is losing an exemplary instructor. Can he be cloned to replace some other ed. profs?

What a pleasure it was to be in his class! Upon reflection after graduation, I can honestly state that this professor exemplifies what it truly means to be a learned person. Not only did he makes his classes enjoyable and informative (I really learned a lot more than art), he helped me establish a clear perspective on what it means to be a teacher.

A bright, bright man. I didn't know I could draw!! I will likely never teach art as I am currently a high school English teacher and loving it, but some of his strategies and lesson deliveries have helped to better inform my teaching. A creative and intelligent instructor of the highest order!!

This professor was one of my favourites. He always made his classes interesting, enjoyable and thought-provoking. He lectures without notes (more like talking with you than at you) and he mixes humour into every situation that in many ways makes you think (really think) about the topic. If you have the chance to take his class yo're in for a treat.

I really enjoyed this professor's classes. He managed to cover a lot of material clearly and effectively. Other professors in the Faculty should take lessons on teaching from him. Her has a wonderful manner and style in his delivery(the right mix of thought-provoking content and humour).

I've always been intimidated in art. This professor has turned all that around. I look forward to his classes and his stories. He is very clear in his expectations and he gets the results he wants from each student. He is one of the best teachers at Nipissing.
