Great lectures, but most of our class time was spent going off topic. He is very knowledgeable in this subject. He is very caring when it comes to questions and the need for an extension. Just ask!I would not take this again because we never got any of our work back and we never got any grade. I didn't know my grade until final grades were posted.

This guy is so awesome. There are no tests in this class (Lit & Law): Just the term paper and a few readingwriting assignments. Don't be afraid to ask for extensions. He's very understanding, especially when due dates for his class pile up on the same day cause we get off topic in class a lot. ALWAYS ask him questions if you have ANY. No textbook

Great teacher. Has many interesting stories to tell. Doesn't always stay on topic. I learned a lot in his class and will definitely take him for other classes as well.

Took him for thesis research. Unorganized. Useless class. Too absorbed in his field to branch out and help students in THEIR fields. He wants to look at everything in life as an economist would. Fine. However, not everyone else is going to do the same, and he should respect that, rather than act condescendingly towards though that disagree.

As one who grew up in Natchitoches, LA, and attended both LSNC and NSU, the tenor of comments on this enlightening article comes as a shock-- one might think from the frequent disparagement of Fox and Limbaugh, both sources of news and commentary somehow have gotten into many a commenter's craw. But it seems unlikely there could be any seriou

Great for lecture classes, HORRIBLE at seminar. Its like The Picht Show, where no one can say a word. But in a lecture class he's funny, and all is well. He's intimidating at first, but he's really not scary.

Looks/talks like an android, but is probably one of the best examples of a human being. Gives the most coherent & refreshing lectures and is eager to help students. (picht: "people whose last names begin with an _e_ all look alike to me.")
