Professor Rodger is awesome. He is very easy-going and always willing to do what it takes to help his students. His lecture notes tend to be heavily based on the textbook, but he offers some great insight (and jokes) during the lecture. Exams for his upper-year classes tend to be based on student-submitted questions and, thus, are fairly easy.

No one is really sure why he's teaching AI; he has no background in it! He reproduced the text in his lecture notes, and didn't know anything beyond that. Assignments are reasonable, though the only CISC class I've come across (except 497) with an ESSAY! Exams are deceptively easy, but roughly graded.
