She was nice and somewhat funny. her lectures were at times very hard to follow, and she asked we read fairly boring books. SHE GRADES VERY HARD! so put in the time and effort in your work.

Well, if you have trouble following lectures in general, I wouldn't recommend taking history with her. She's very soft-spoken and when I asked her if she would use a microphone she immediately declined as if offended. I have a short attention span and am dealing with domestic trauma that I've informed her of multiple times and shes not very helpful

Essentially(lol her fav word) this teacher lost my respect when I informed her my grandfather recently away and I had to attend the funeral. Was I able to make up the test? No. For the class make up she wanted me to clip him out in the obituaries. Retire lady or have a little compassion

I agree with the comment above, she says essentially way too many times. She is an unfair grader and she expects you to cite her lectures. You really must read everything. She mispronounced my name through the entire class, when I corrected her after class she just looked at me and did not respond. She really needs to retire.

This woman is incredibly unfair. I received a 78% on every single assignment and test with no comments as to why my grade was this. I missed a few days of class due to a family emergency and she told me to leave my family alone and that was no reason to miss class. DO NOT TAKE A CLASS FROM HER!
