It took entirely too long to get a response to questions & return on homework assignments.It became nearly impossible to fully grasp the material and feel prepared for exams.As for the grad project we were limited to working with Weinstein. She did not make her own deadline for approving proposals but remained stringent on deadlines for students.

Horrible Professor. I took statistics with her at Pine Manor College. Her comment on first day of class was "Nobody gets an A in my class." Teach you one thing in class then give you something completely different on tests. Would never ever attend any classes that she teaches ever again as long as I live!!!!! Stay away from this professor!

I took Professor Weinstein's Intro to Statistics Class at Harvard Extension School. She's and excellent and engaging teacher who took a genuine interest in her students. The graduate student project was extremely interesting because she let the students pick a topic that was meaningful to us.

Pretty disappointing teacher. Uninspired lectures. Slides recycled from previous years. Seemed put off by questions. I never missed a class. But I learned way more from reading the textbook by myself.

I took Statistics from Professor Weinstein through Harvard Extension distance education. It was an absolute pleasure to take her class! I'd recommend her to anyone who really wants to learn the subject.
