Super easy class! I love professor Bonner! He is probably my favorite professor on Astate's campus. He is extremely easy-going and all-around chill. Great guy with super interesting stories.

Prof Bonner is the BEST instructor I had this semester. The class consisted of choosing a song to bring in, the class would listen to it, and then discuss it. The end. No textbook, no tests, no final. He is very laid-back and respectable. His class is super fun, too. Just make sure you come to class. That's all he asks of you. Awesome guy.

This professor is wonderful. TAKE HIM! His honor's fine arts class is easier than the regular arts classes AND it's actually interesting. He doesn't believe in tests. Everything we did was discussion based so no homework. He is nice, respects students as equals, and gives us a lot of say in how the class runs. He has great musical taste too!

Mr. Bonner is one of the coolest instructors in the music department. Not just because he is cool and listens to great music, but he relates to his students and treats them like what they think matters, IF they are serious about their studies. He makes class fun and educational as well. I highly recommend taking his classes. He knows good tunes.

I had him for History of Western Music and he was a great teacher and VERY helpful! I am taking him again for Western Music II. His test are just like the study guides! Do those, and you will be fine in the class!

Dr. Bonner is a great teacher for this class. He goes over some basic skills for listening to music, then we just listen to music and discuss it orally in class and in small writing assignments out of class. There are fun projects and students get a lot of say in what we want to learn. No textbook, easy A if you participate, very fun class!

I just took him in summer one online and i really enjoyed the class. he really does his job, because he love it and that always makes it interesting and way better for a student to enjoy the class. He is a must take if you want to take music...

Have Dr. Bonner for Honors FAM at the moment...he's definitely an easy prof if you're a non-music major like me. Only had like, 7-8 (graded) assignments the whole semester...no final exam, don't even need to buy the textbook.

I like him because you can tell he loves his job. Just pay attention in class and don't be disruptive. I would recommend this class, just as long as you show interest. Class participation is a must.

Really easy class, good to take if you are overloaded with hard classes, like science or math. Homework he gives is blackboard dicussion. We only had one test the whole semester. You do have to go to class though he takes attendance!

Learned A LOT!!! Expanded my musical horizon. As long as you go to class and join in on discussion you will have an A. SOOOO MUCH FUNN!! We sat and got to listen to music for an entire semester, and most of our grade was 'do you like this why or why not' on a sheet of paper. Best class on campus by far. Take this class, even is you don't need it.

I had Dr. Bonner for Honors Fine Arts Music. We studied music from 1957 - 2003. It was very interesting and fun. Dr. Bonner is without a doubt the coolest professor at ASU. Ask him about his $11,000 flute and living near John Lennon.
