This class is a LOT of work. You need to read the book in order to understand the material. There's a couple of different professors for this class, but Loturco is probably the best one. Very hard, but very interesting. If you e-mail him with questions he is happy to answer them and usually responds within 24 hours.

Exams are very tricky. The "study questions" in the slideshows don't help very much and have almost nothing to do with the exams.

Loturco was the BEST! I took his class in Spring 2010. He MAY have been worse other semesters b/c he seemed very interested in helping kids do well and wanted to improve the average. Record his lectures. He gives out study guides which are very understandable. Do these in detail because tests are COMPLETELY on these. He is very interesting too.

The worst professor I've had. He does keep the class interested but his lectures are very hard to understand. The exams are very tricky. I regret taking this class after everyone had warned me not to!

Joe's brilliant, logical, but way too fast (but a tape recorder). Great explanations if U seek him for extra help. On exams he asks difficult and "tricky" questions about material thats already dificult and abstact so grades are a crapshUt. Take this class if you don't care about your gpa. Othr teach is aweful and U wont learn anything overall in

Hes a really nice guy but his exams are impossible, hes at such a level he can't not conceptualize how to break material down so it can be understood if you are not already a graduate student, Good material just poor teaching ablitiy and he always smirks... its cute though
