Comment:

I took the course online for HIS 108, and I would definitely recommend it. The course was a bi-term, the textbook was for free online, and he had us send in a 150-250 word paper to him twice a week for him to grade. Not that difficult of a course and I learned a lot from the class.

Comment:

I took the HIS 108 online summer course. I think he is a great professor. He clearly states his grading criteria, as well as, his expectations and assignments for the course in his syllabus and greeting. I found him to be one of the best i've had at responding to emails and helping you when confused. I would retake him.

Mr. Marcum knows his stuff. I prefer his method of teaching because he always tells the students what he expects them to know, and what they will be tested on. I think he is an excellent teacher.

Mr. Marcum definitely knows his history, however it is true that he has some difficulty in teaching you about it. While his study guides and papers can seem time consuming, doing them will ensure you a good grade. He's not the greatest teacher you will ever have, but he's a nice guy.

Mr. Marcum is a wonderful person. However, his lectures are really boring.
