Joe is the best prof ever. He is funny, helpful and caring and always wants his students to do well. He loves the subject and loves answering questions, and his notes and lectures are amazing. He makes you want to come to class, and always makes you laugh. Definitely take his class if you have the chance!

Amazing prof. Funny, explains concepts very clearly, and always tries to help those who have questions after class . Do not sit in the first two rows unless you want to be picked on. Do not ask stupid questions or else he will openly roast you. However its all jokes and deep down he is an amazing prof.

He is an amazing professor who makes class enjoyable and understandable. Definitely one of my favourite professors. He's so funny and knowledgeable and honestly he's everybody's favourite cute grandpa. I wish he taught more courses!

Prokipcak is an extremely caring prof who you can clearly tell is passionate about chemistry. He is the best option for first year chem and i would recommend getting into one of his sections over the others. He has fill in the blank notes for every class that you can print out and fill in/write extra notes. Good prof for a difficult course.

His does hand written notes and fill in the blanks which are really nice. He makes hilarious jokes and comments and likes to pick on people in the front row. He has hearing issues and can misinterpret your question/answer. He gives you lots of examples and teaches really well. Despite being a chemistry class, he makes it enjoyable. Cute old man

Best lecturer Ive ever had. He made learning so much better. I liked how he hand writes all the important stuff during lecture so we learn better rather than just listen to someone talk. He also gives lots of good examples in his notes.

Very knowledgable in his field and can answer any question you throw at him. If I can offer any advice, it would be to read the textbook BEFORE lectures, as he assumes you already know the basics and therefore mostly covers practice questions. Despite the name "killer chem", his lectures were incredibly straightforward and educational.

He is hilarious and one of the best profs i had even though I struggled in the middle portion of the class. amazing at explaining things gave lots of extra work for help textbook questions, online quizzes). his class was always a joy with easy notes and an entertaining lecture. If you're taking chem 1040 you have to take it with this man.

Best prof I've had by far! Gives detailed notes which are easy to understand, and fills in the blanks throughout lectures. He is amazing at ensuring everybody understands the concepts and it is notable that he loves his job!!! 10/10 would recommend!! he is amazing (and also funny) !

If you're in science, you have to take 1040, so do yourself a favour and take it with him. He is hilarious in lecture and his notes are amazing. He prepares you really well for the exam and he is a super great guy in general. Loved his class.

I had Prokipcak for CHEM1040 my first semester of first year. He really broke down concepts nicely in lectures to help you understand. Lecture notes were provided online and were scans of his handwritten notes with blanks to fill in and space to solve problems. Honestly the best set of lecture notes I've had so far, if not a little old-school.

I wish I could take Professor Prokipcak again but he only teaches 1st year CHEM1040. If you are in first year, choose his class. No other chemistry prof can match his class. He is funny plus an awesome professor who cares for everyone. Sit in the front row if possible, it will really help.

Professor Prokipcak is THE BEST professor in Univerisity of Guelph so far. His wasyof teaching chemistry is really good. His notes are organized and easy to follow. He fills in the notes during his lecture and slows down if someone asks. Prof Prokipcak also has a funny personality and tries to entertain students. Sit in the front row if possible.
