He's getting old and so it's hard for him to turn and look at the class...he just looks at the board and talk. But he's a pretty nice guy. He's quizes and tests are easy, and he curves a LOT! according to calculation I was getting 3.1 but ended up with 4.0 in both my classes! I took MATH 220 & 230 with him. He's second best teacher after R. Plagge.

I almost died of boredom in his class. Best way to learn is to not pay attention and just read your book because he wastes most of the time talking to the board as apposed to addressing the class and teaching. His tests are easy and if you understand the concepts it should be an easy 4.0. Good luck!

GOOD GOD! This guy is terrible. I'm not saying this because I got a bad grade either. I actually got a 4.0 in his class. The main trick to succeeding in his class is not paying attention to his lectures and studying the book on your own. After paying attention to his confusing nonsense, my grade would go down. He never turns to the class either.

SOOOO boring. Half the class is always asleep, the other half is throwing paper. Doesn't teach jack. I got a 4.0 thanks to the curve, because every single student literally failed the class. Because he doesn't know how to teach.

He is so boring and has the most monotonous voice that it's hard to pay attention and understand. I got a 4.0 in Math 111 with Taylor and he teaches calc sometimes. I recommend him. There is a lot of work in each section to finish and the book sucks too.

Joe Wilcox was the best math professor I have ever had. He has an excellent pace, he is very clear and easy to understand, and his classes are very "passable" with effort.
