Comment:
The Professor seems very knowledgeable of the material but the actual hints that are given are basic information that youd be able to decipher on your own. He is an extremely tough grader and doesnt give much points for any effort what so ever. Be prepared to basically teach yourself. Conferences are to ask questions, you must know what to ask.

Comment:
The class was Fields (a branch of abstract algebra). The content of the course is difficult but Dr. Yanik chose a good textbook and was willing to explain concepts over and over again. There is a lot of homework but the exams are straightforward (if a tad long). After struggling at the beginning, I scored an A on the final exam!
