Comment:
Joel is a topnotch professor. At the beginning of the semester, his pace and teaching style can be a little overwhelming, but as the semester progresses and you learn how he teaches, you will find yourself retaining a lot of the material in his lectures. He's a great guy and genuinely wants to see students succeed. Would take another class from him

Has to be the most entertaining Econ prof I've had. He provides only an online text but all the materials are from his lectures with no surprises on his tests. Sometimes he rants and becomes erratic and at times he says things that aren't true in his rants. Overall a good prof

Professor Bruneau is the best prof I've ever had! He genuinely wants to see his students succeed. He provided us with an online text but exams and assignments were solely based on class notes so attendance is a must. His exams are solely based on the weekly assignments, so spend time doing those and the class will be a breeze. Take his class!

Prof. Bruneau knows his stuff very well and will thoroughly explain what you do not understand. He is the rare prof who makes final period not as tensive as others if you follow him during classes. Posted outline and held Q&A sessions before each midterms and final. Gave the choice to you to decide which question you want to do on final exam.

He cares a lot for his students, and will go out of his way to book "Q&As" a day before the exam so that the students can clear up any questions they have. DO NOT expect you can pass this class if you don't go to class. Half the time his slides are not clear with what he was trying to convey, and it was only because I went to class that I got it.

Easily one of the best Econ profs on campus. Lectures are entertaining, and use relevant examples that students can relate to. The class is alot of work, but if you do the assignments (which can be difficult) the exams are easy. He wants to see the students do well.Had extra review classes before all exams and would help with any assignment issues

His brilliance and knowledge of the subject matter is depicted by the ease with which he explains complicated models by using everday life examples and simple words. Going to class is the key since MT and HW is derived from lectures.Always available to answer Q:s, even with the assignment questions. Overall Great prof. Makes you appreciate econ.
