had him for lab, not very approachable for help unless you are really having difficulty so ask a friend or ta first. other than that he doesnt grade that hard and even gives generous extra credit for joining an engineering club.

I enjoyed his lab. He seemed grumpy at first when he explained the labs but he is just being thorough and wants you to do the labs well and right the first time. He's nice and does a great job as a lab instructor. Make sure you keep up with the group projects because they can be challenging, especially if there are slackers in the group.

Very straight forward, very easy going. Just make sure to do well on the wind turbine powerpoint+project and the robot project. If your mechanical like I want to be then take all the mechanical jobs during the robot part. It seems like they aimed this class more towards programming in which I have no interest in.....

Had him for my lab instructor. He has an awesome accent just btw. He is fairly easy but doesn't really offer much personal help unless you are truly stumped. He would let us out of lab early if we finished, which was nice.

I had him for my lab instructor. Overall he's pretty nice and a fair grader (got back most assignments with good grades). However he can be intimidating. His first response to questions is always to look in the manual. If you clarify that you actually did then he'll be willing to offer assistance.

I had him for lecture and lab. He gets a little hot headed when you don't understand something and he repeats, but over all a nice guy. His grading is fair, and heck, I thought for sure I'd be lucky to get a C in the class, I got an A-. I'd be more willing to take his class again over some of my other professors!

He's a cool professor. I had him for the lab, and he just gives you the assignment and lets you and your group work on it yourselves. He isn't very helpful, but you are given everything you need on the Engr 10 website anyway. Your group will make or break your grade, so pick people you get along with and who'll actually do the work.

Horrible teacher. When you ask him for help, he will not help you at all, he says look in the manual or he has no clue what to do. He expects you to learn everything yourself. Just hope you get good teammates that knows what they're doing and the class will be easy for you. Otherwise good luck.

Mr. Athanasiou is a wonderful instructor. He has interesting lectures, encourages the students to learn, and keeps the lab environment friendly and safe - try to get him for both the lecture and lab. But don't be lazy, you need to attend lectures, labs, open labs, and be a good teammate. Your hard work will pay off! Highly recommended for Engr-10.

I had him for the lab section of E10. Athanasiou is an easy teacher, sometimes lazy. He's (usually) helpful, though, although sometimes if he's in a bad mood he'll say, "Just read the manual" (which is probably all it takes most of the time). He's got a good sense of humor, although some people think it's lame. Gives inspiring speeches.

Had him for E10 lab, was very easy did not require us to write reports like the other lab teachers. Easy to get full credit just do the work required. Do not be late or you will get made fun of in front of class. Bought the whole class coffee once to wake us up. Highly recommend.

I am taking him now, he gives homework everyweek, Lab and lecture. Fairly simple and easy, but man is he bad at reminding you. All he does is give you a schedule and let you remind yourself. Take him if you want? We'll see how things go.

I think people are under-rating this professor. Just do two very very easy h.w. assignments every week and you're set for the semester. He also grades easy on the two projects. My group got 192/200 for both projects, and one of them didn't even work. Final is also extremely easy, almost all Q's in final are discussed in first 4 weeks of class.

This class is pretty boring. There are times that his lecture will make you want to drop your engineering major. The work is easy but he isn't very approachable so it can be frustrating if you have a question. A little unorganized. Has a funny accent.
