took him for core bio, the class was extremely easy. you didn t have to buy a textbook, you didnt have to go to class he didnt take attendence. the best part is all his notes are online, so you can get all the info from there. no h.w or class project. just a mid term and final. highly recommend him.

The only thing u have to make sure is that you get the lecture notes that are posted online, STUDY THIS. The Exams are based heavily on this. About the guy, he's very funny. I got a laugh in his classes. However, i wouldn't be able to explain all the material (but he makes important points), that's why u have to get the notes. I got an A.

the best part of this whole course is that u only have to show up 3 times: the first day, the midterm, and the final. everything is online but it is ALOT to read. as far as blamire goes, he's real funny. But don't go to the lectures, you won't learn ANYTHING. He goes by FAST and he even says "he only talks about 5% of what we should know".

I think this guy is very arrogant and insensitive. Luckily I don't have to show up to this class lecture since most of it is online. You would think that his lectures could be a little easier instead of assuming that we all know what polypeptides are. Annoying labs, annoying class. Did not make me appreciate biology at all.

probably the worst prof. i've ever had. he had a way of skirting around every question asked in class by directing people to seek answers on the class web site. horrible sense of humor. zero empathy towards students with personal difficulties or hectic lives outside of school.

I love this guy's class cause he is so funny. Plus it's online course and the stuff online is pretty straightforward. It's alot of stuff to read though so just make sure you have the time to read it. But take his class. You may not learn anything in the classroom (since it's all online anyways)but he's worth the time.

Not only is this man a great and intelligent professor, but he is absolutely HYSTERRICAL! He puts his heart into every lecture and incorporates you as well.. there are humorous cartoons to aid u in the lesson.. i HATE biology.. all sciences for that matter , and i got an A

Prof. tries to make biology fun in class. But remember that if you want to do well on the midterm and final you'll need to read everything on his website including the various labs and links! His classes are generally designed to entertain and stimulate interests. He doesn't require you to read a textbook but the website is the equivalent.

Very funny guy, he made Bio interesting and fun. Actually looked foward to going to his class. Take the practice midterm on his web site before the test and you will do fine. Hard course, but what bio course isn't.
