His practice midterms are basically exactly the tests. I did not put much effort in, other than going to class and reviewing the lecture notes and the practice midterms before exams, and I got an A- in 16A and a B+ in 16B. He's really not trying to trick you.

By far, one of the best math professors I have had in Davis. He gets you prepare for the calculus so well that it makes your life easier when you take other math classes. Definitely love him. Because of him, I'm in love with math.

By far the BEST math teacher I have ever had. His lectures are VERY clear and he is extremely helpful. He genuinely wants to help students understand math concepts rather than just memorizing how to do math problems. It is because of Chuchel that I actually like math now. Definitely take a class with Chuchel. He is the best!

Amazing teacher! His tests look exactly like his practice tests (except for 2 curveballs) and he explains everything so clearly! Plus homework is not mandatory, but it helps especially since book problems are more difficult than his tests! Thanks for a great year Chuchel!

Chuchel is a great professor. Coming into the class with little to no Calc knowledge, his clear and concise examples proved extremely helpful. His office hours are super helpful and he gives practice tests before each of his midterms and the final that are fairly similar to the actual test. I highly recommend him if you're lucky enough to get him

Chuchel is the cutest, most helpful math professor. Having little to no prior Calc knowledge going into the class, Chuchel's explanations and examples were super clear, concise, and helpful. His office hours are extremely helpful as well as his door is always open to students. I highly recommend Chuchel as a math professor.

Chuchel was awesome!!! I had 3 midterms and a final and he gave us practice problems before each midterm. If you pay attention in class, you will know exactly what will be on the tests. Definitely go to office hours. I went in once a week and he was extremely helpful and also fun to talk to once you get to know him. I hope I can take him again!

Chuchel is really clear an very good at getting his points across. Plus he is like the nicest guy in the entire world. I freakin loved this class with him, but it might have something to do with getting an A+ (a grade which I did not deserve). Really though, best math prof at UCD easily.
