He's was alright. The lectures did often seem to be all over the place. However, i thought that he did a good job in reconnecting them. At the end of each lecture, we watched a movie. The grade was based on the midterm and final though he did provide a study guide before both of them. The tests weren't cumulative either.

Professor Dombrink does love to talk but I found his lectures interesting and the movies relevant to the class. Great guy, and definitely willing to help out of class if needed. Just go to class, read the books, watch the movies, etc. Love his charisma!!

Most unorganized professor ever. His lectures are all over the place, but you have to go because he shows a movie at the end of every class. 2 midterms and 1 final. Pretty easy class but its boring. Just stay for the movie because its on the tests and do the study guides and you'll be golden.

Professor Dombrink is a nice professor but his lectures are very unorganized. I'm pretty sure you could pass this class by attending the review sessions even if you miss the majority of lecture. He also calls on random people to read or give their thoughts about a topic. I still haven't read any of the books but got an A on my midterm.

Very disorganized but you will pass this class even if you don't show up one day, as long as you read the books and do the study guide. You can also skip the readings but show up to class. Either methods will pass the class. Very laid back but beware of questions about the movies; he wants specific details to ensure your participation. Easy A

Nice guy, lectures were super boring. Always go off topic and power points were all over the place and didn't really connect.. I wen't to class like 4 times (not including test days) for both class and ended up with an A- for 131 and a B+ for 134... All you really have to do is the study guide and your good. Didn't read any of the books either..

Although lecture is not mandatory, there is a seating chart so he might call on you to discuss topics now and then (relaxed). Most of the time he has you read the powerpoint slides. I didn't go to class for a majority of the quarter. Tests are easy if you show up to the review or use the study guide.

Show up to class and you will pass. Super chill and laid back. Repeats all the important stuff from the lecture that you need to know for the tests. If you want an "A" do some of the readings and go to the review sessions.

Awesome class. He really likes the material and he's just straight up a cool professor. Lots of books, I skimmed and read the chapters that related to the study guide questions. Study guide is pretty much exactly the test every time which is really nice. You don't have to go to lecture, I did because dombrink is awesome.

Dombrink is awesome. I'd take him over and over again. His lectures can be long and monotonous sometimes but they're important to go to. I'm sure you could pass by the study guidesreview sesson alone wo lecture. But he's a cool guy, really nice, I learned a lot from him. reading was a lot but 12 the time there were movies you could watch instead

Hes a decent professor, just wasnt that interested in the subject. He was easy for victimless crimes, but it required a little reading and showing up once and a while.

Do what your expected to do (read, attend lecture/take notes, review all the material before the midterm) and you'll do fine. People say his lectures are scattered, but if you think about not only what he's saying, but why he is saying it, it makes complete sense. Definitely a cool guy.

Class subjects are very interesting and he is very good at getting the class into the material. Study guides make tests generally easy, and the interesting books help too. However, he DOES NOT answer emails. You have to either visit him during office hours (very approachable and friendly) or email the TA.

Not too easy not too hard. He's tests are very fair and getting an A is definitely attainable. The book he had us read were very interesting. It wasn't your average text books but it was related to the topics discussed in class. Lecture is not mandatory. If you do the readings, you'll pass the class

I figured out going to class was pretty useless, especially having taken classes on drugs, gay rights, abortion, and euthanasia before. He takes a lot of information from his Victimless Crimes class, and then half-asses the rest of powerpoints. Extremely amusing guy, but his lectures are incoherent and it's hard to follow his train of thought. EASY
