John Fletcher is a smart, well-trained musician. He communicates clearly to all of his classes and ensembles and keeps things running as smoothly as possible. I wish he was more strict and even harsh with ensembles so that they are actually inspired to practice.

Very very great teacher. A wonderful Christian example. If you do what is right, you won't be on his bad side. A wealth of information, especially in music theory. Those who say they don't like Fletch don't know music, because he is incredible!

John is one of the greatest guys conducting college bands today. He is fair, consistent and knowledgable, and everything he does is in the best interest of the students first, the university second, and himself a distant third. As an alumni of OCU, I applaud what he has done for the music dept.
