Gaydos is a great lecturer. He's fast paced and keeps things interesting. He knows his material well and can pretty much answer anything on the spot. I like the readings he assigned for our class a lot. Some questions from the midterms/assignments were a little over my head but he's a fair marker.

Very brilliant guy. Brightest Professor I've met at Carleton Engineering. His notes are great. Study notes, do examples on each section and you'll do well in the course guaranteed.

Good professor. Extremely important to attend his lectures or failure in the course will most likely result. The book does not help nearly as much as his notes. He gives great notes and his lectures can be interesting most of the time. The exams in the course were however very very hard, he does however omit harder questions and boosts some marks.

I <3 him! He's brilitant, atriculate, witty and makes exams really hard. That said, go to class and pay attention...he's not lecturing b/c he gets paid 105K/a. I'm sure he could get paid more doing something else!!

Easily the worst engineering professor at Carleton. Does not present the material in a matter that an undergraduate student can digest. Finals far exceed the course cirriculum in scope, and are intentionally too long and too difficult. Have heard that on one occasion, only 2 people passed the final exam. Avoid this jackass at all costs.
