Comment:

The absolute best professor I ever had at Furman, hands down. It is such a privilege to be in his class! There is never a dull moment and he grades extremely fairly. His tests and quizzes reflect what is learned in class. He is so easy to talk to and so helpful outside of class. Take him if you can!!

Dr. Harris is one of the best professors I have had during my time at Furman, and I do not even like math that much. He is very good at explaining different topics and is willing to work with you outside of class. He is hilarious, and somehow makes calculus interesting and enjoyable.

He is the angel of the math department. He's the one you want in your schedule. Magic Monday's are the best and his lectures are easy to follow. If you struggle with math but need the GER I'd suggest him.

Comment:

Dr. Harris is one of the best math teachers I have ever had. He explains the concepts clearly, but beyond that, he takes an interest in his students as people and works to make his lectures relevant and entertaining. Tests are fairly easy if you do the homework (of which there is not very much). Absolutely take him if you can.

Dr. Harris is an amazing professor. His teaching is presented extremely well and he goes at a very good pace. He is very helpful outside of class but going to class is essential to passing. I learned a ton in his class but unfortunately my grade did not reflect it. He doesn't give you formulas (a lot were required for my course) and he grades hard.

Dr. Harris is my favorite professor. I looked forward to his class, even though it was early. He always kept class interesting and I especially enjoyed Mondays because they were "Magic Mondays." He did card tricks and other "magic" things that can be explained by math. Math is not usually something that I enjoy, but Dr. Harris made it fascinating!

His seminar on coincidences is by far the easiest class I've ever taken. It requires minimal effort, reading a chapter of a book in between classes and answering open ended questions on the reading that half of the time don't even require that you read. Very easy class to get an A in with no effort. Also magic mondays are the best.

I had him for a seminar on coincidences. Easiest class I have ever taken. Seriously, just participate in class and do his assignments (usually just a short reading). The class (more like a book club) was fun, interesting, engaging, and most importantly, EASY. Oh, and Magic Mondays can last the entire class time if you play your cards right ;)

Dr. Harris is great. I had vectors and matrices at 8:30, and could not have made it through with any other professor. he is helpful and assignments are straightforward. as long as you pay attention and ask questions when you don't understand something, you'll be fine. I even did research with him on baseball after this class.

So nice and helpful! Makes calculus an easy subject to learn. Homework isn't mandatory, but it will definitely help you on the quizzes and tests. Quizzes are easy, tests need a little more studying, but altogether easy class! Take him!

Dr. Harris is absolutely the nicest, most helpful and best professor I've had. He makes calculus, which can be a very intimidating subject, easy to understand. I never took calculus in high school but Dr. Harris clearly explains every step and idea and makes it easy to gain a clear understanding of the material. I highly recommend his class!

Coincidence, Paradox, Myth, and Truth was an awesome class. Dr. Harris tries to keep things entertaining and the class is super easy. We had a lot of reading quizzes, but they were really easy and nothing to worry about. TAKE THIS CLASS! It was the easiest class i had this semester and the best one at that.

Comment:

Coincidence, Paradox, and Myth is the easiest class you will ever take. Can be boring at times, but some days were pretty fun. Class always ended early. Dr. Harris is SUPER nice, and we rarely had homework. If we did, it was never graded and handed back. Take him!
